Lord: Torent(formerly of Telgar)
Lady: Alsea (born of Fort, married into Telgar)
Their children: (probably married for about 10 turns)
Here's some things to know about the story. Approximately 13 turns ago IC, holders, crafters, and many children and couples, were sent to colonize Southern Continent. People were grabbed from anywhere they could be found. A group of Telgar Weyrfolk disguised as traders took some from other holds that were unhappy with their lot there. The Weyrleaders worked with Telgar hold to take people from there, as well as their own weyrfolk. All the people taken were declared dead, taken by plague so no one would ask questions.
They were taken by dragon back in time into a peaceful long interval, before thread had the chance to maim the land there. They wandered the coast, looking for rocky areas that would have caves to settle in. One night, a brave group of teenagers left the camp at night to follow the star, or rather, one bright star. Why they left, even they don't know, but they had been traveling for quite a few sevendays with out any relief. They followed this star, and below it, they found a system of caves that had been eroded away by waves over many hundreds of years. The water had receeded into a small bay or cove, and with some work from the miner craft, it was made livable with in a turn. It was named after the what led them to salvation- the star.
Who would lead Star Hold? They needed some one would hold respect and could control the crowds. Some one who knew something of leading and who wouldn't let a coup happen. There was much interest, and it was another reason why no one but Telgar Hold was told of Southern Continent. It would be decided that Torent, the younger brother of Enald, and displaced heir, would be Lord of Star Hold. His wife, Alsea, would lead as his Lady. Four five turns after their landing, a few dragons watched over them, and the population showed signs of swelling. They were officially established.
Weyrleaders decided it was not time for their dragonriders to go back yet. Another seven turns passed before they decided to send dragons back to settle the discovered empty volcano that they would call Southern Weyr. Neory, Elisha's oldest junior, would go back with a handful of bronzeriders, and good squadron of brown, blue and greenriders to train the next generations of riders. Again, these riders (and the riders assigned to guarding/reporting on Star Hold) were presumed dead to the rest of the population. Including those who lived within Telgar Weyr. Now the first children of Star Hold are about 12 -13 turns old, and the older children brought at first are scattered from 14-22.
