And so the new Weyrs of Pern were announced to a Weyr overflowing with dragons. Benden and High Reaches, joined by Ista and Igen, were built first but now, as the Year numbers 33, Telgar will get her turn. Telgar was meant to protect the rich mining of the northern mountains but its' protection will prove invaluable to the farms of the fertile Dunto River Valley. Building the Weyr has come just in the nick of time, for Igen is stretched thin with protecting this region from Thread.
Now the time has come for young pairs, who know little of running a Weyr or in training a fighting wing, to step forward and claim their destiny. The Weyr is almost finished, personal weyrs are still being carved and cleaned out, the Hatching sands are complete, just in time for Telgar's first clutch. Although rough and unfinished, considered a lowly cave by some, the Weyr has, or will soon have, the luxuries the older Weyrs enjoy. Higher north, with a climate colder than most people find comfortable, some folk are not happy about being assigned to Telgar. But then, some are happy to come to a place with no history.
The only thing that remains is this,
Do you have what it takes to become a Legend, before the Legends were ever born?
The Story of Pern begins here, with you. Become a rider, to save the planet from Thread. Become a miner, explore the caverns first and have your name in history. Become weyrfolk, begin the traditions that will last for centuries. Anything and everything is possible when you a part of Telgar: The Founding.
We need:
-Riders of every color, from Bronze to Green. Several Wingseconds are still needed
-Candidates of every shape and size, with a clutch and a Gold egg on the way we are in desperate need of people to stand.
-Wherhandlers, holders, and weyrfolk, the people that make Weyr life livable.
-Lots of important positions open, check the board for a complete list.
So come be the stuff of legend, the stuff of Harper Songs!!!

With the First Hatching date set, Telgar Weyr will soon welcome it's first clutch of Dragonets ever. It seems this clutch is going to make quite a bit of history. We have very few candidates, so more are very much needed. With a gold egg on the sands we would like a variety of people to choose from for her.
We need folk of every type from Riders of all colors, to Holders of all ranks. We need Weyrfolk as well.
Side Plot
Telgar Hold has had a gold wher and some mates escape from their wher kennel, killing an apprentice in the process. A man hunt for the dangerous whers will begin shortly.

Still Alive...Upcoming Events
-With a Clutch on the Sands, Hatching is a few short weeks away.
-A Weyrleader Flight will be coming soon. It will be open to all bronzes.
-Threadfall expected shortly. (We have realistic falls thanks to our Generator)
-There is always something going on.
