Amneris knew early that Labeth was not herself. She was snappy and irritable. The blonde knew that this was coming and yet she had not wanted it to come. Ragoth was grounded and couldn't fly Labeth. She never wanted this to happen, she loved Jeyna. This flight would not cause any sort of relationship tension but it would be nerveracking nonetheless. Labeth had always been flown by Ragoth.
The green didn't blood because she didn't have the great need that Queens did to rise high and far so that they may clutch well. Indeed, Amneris hoped the flight would be over quickly and painlessly. There was no way to get out of this situation so when Labeth took to the skies, she sighted heavily.
Jeyna already said she would understand but it made Neris no less nervous. What if she liked this person? What if she was the one who was changed by all of this? There had been no one before Jeyna and now there could be someone else and she hoped that her body and mind would not react anywhere near as strongly to that person.

R'ko hadn't been cruising for a Greenflight. But Deshenorth apparently had, or something along those lines. To be honest, sometimes(most of the time), R'ko had no idea what prompted his Brown's Flight Attempts. What he did know was that he wasn't excited about being swept into another Flight. Desh was, unfortunately, far to skilled at Flight, and won a large portion of the time.
Striding into the Flight room, still possessing all of his senses, the Redhead rubbed a small cut on his cheek, and wondered who he would be chasing this time.
When he spotted his father striding into the same Flight room, he winced inwardly. After all of this time, it was still weird to see his father competing with him after Greens.
Sweet Labeth, allow me to chase you, follow you, and take you for a Flight you will never forget! The reddish brown bungled, preparing to take Flight after the pretty Green.
~~~~~~~~~~
R'net, for his part, was looking rather dapper, with silver and red hair, and a nice loose linen shirt and pants. And his eyes, as they often were, were unfocused, as the older man was firmly stuck with his Bronze. They were ready for Flight, and didn't notice Desh or R'ko, and honed in of the Greenrider/Green quickly.
Labeth, of all the Greens around, I chose you. Let us fly to the Sun and back!
A green rises, I wish to chase her. J'ren looked up from his scroll, getting hit with the sudden pull of his dragon's desire. So that was the nagging pull he had felt all morning. He got up and started to the flight room. Who is it? Who's dragon in is rising? He realized almost right away, once he had thought it, that he knew: Labeth, Amneris' green. She was a wing mate, and a friend.
J'ren entered the flight room, taking a few great strides to join with the rest standing in wait. ~~~~
Gliath knew his part, blooding a couple kills, and then leaping to the air. He didn't need as many kills as he would for a Gold, but he also couldn't gorge himself. Greens were faster, more agile. I come to your call, green Labeth, that I may prove my worth. Let us fly as one.
Brennanth felt like flying. He didn't really feel like catching Labeth, but she was the only Green, and so he wanted to chase her. He promised Isisth that he would only have heart for her, but sometimes the Brown wanted to do something more. He decided to chase Labeth.
He turned lazily on his wing when Labeth announced she was ready. Brennanth didn't know if he wanted to catch Labeth or not, and was having rather mixed emotions.
He decided he would chase her, and whoever Labeth chose he would be fine. He didn't care, but he wanted to chase. He was going to chase. Good day, dear Labeth. I am going to chase you.
Amneris was aware that all the riders in the room were male. Somehow that didn't matter so much the only thing that mattered was staying with Labeth and enjoying this for what it was. Later would take care of itself, she hoped.
The green listened to the males calls and wanted to fly far from them all. Pretty words. Shall we see who of you can live up to them? Without a moment to lose she shot upwards at great speed. Her rider not at all suprised that she was ready to get this going.
Was the sky big enough for all of them? Her chasers and her? Labeth thought not. She was going to fly as quickly as she could to get clear of them. Thus the flight was more speed than anything, could they keep up? Her agility too, she put to good use. The olive green sped to the right and then to the left with no warning. She could turn on a dime and almost stop on one too if she desired.
The tall blonde in the flight room was only too aware that these others were stil chasing. They came closer to her when she wanted more room. Amneris felt her dragon beginning to take notice of one or two of them but she kept it to herself. The green was going to tire soon and then they would all try to take her.
Gliath didn't waste his energy trying to zig and zag to follow her exact movements. He was able to make small adjustments to his wings and follow along behind her. When she would straighten out he surged forward with a few strokes and quickly caught up, trying to stay well ahead of the others. It is not only our words, but proof in our actions. I shall prove that I can keep up with you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J'ren stood about two arm lengths from Amneris, lost to the mind of his dragon and the flight
Brennanth saw as the green took off with no warning. That’s just how he liked his greens, feisty. He hefted his mass skyward, following her as close as he dared. He knew that greens didn’t essentially like to fly in straight paths whenever they did fly. This wonderful green was no different. He used it over-sized wings to control the air and follow her closely. He chose, unlike some of the other males, to follow her paths precisely, but his turns were not as perfect as hers.
I would follow you through a rainstorm if it would mean you would believe me. This flight is yours and yours only, choose who will be yours! Brennan bellowed.
Brennanth knew that greenflights were not as long as gold flights, and he could use his own endurance to boost his speed. He did so, flapping his giant wings harder than he ever would have if he had been graced to fly a gold flight. He sped so he was closer to the green than the other dragons, but he wasn’t too underly cautious. He knew from experience that greens could turn on dimes, it seemed, and that this Labeth, this olive-colored speed-demon, could surely double back at a moment’s notice.
B’oone didn’t know what was happening, as he was so lost in his dragonlust. He was aware, though, that he was drawing inexorably closer to Amneris. Who would the pretty greenrider take as hers?
Labeth, you run away so prettily. How can I ever prove that I deserve you? Torenth cajoled, flying quickly, if not agilely after the lithe Green. R'net himself moved as close as possible to Amneris, lost in Dragonlust, and smiled easily at the Greenrider.
Desh and R'ko overlooked speaking for a minute, with R'ko helping Desh plot the best course of flying before opening his eyes, and taking a place close to Amneris, though still respectfully far away, in control of himself still.
Desh chased Labeth recklessly, pegging the Green as one without much staying power. Waiting for her to tire wasn't a good option, not when one wanted to be very close as she tired.
Pick me. The Brown sang. Pick me, and let me prove to you everything you want can happen.
(Just so no one is dissappointed, I roll the dice to decide who wins my greenflights when they are open.)
The green was not paying them much attention until she began to feel her wings burning from her exertions. They had all promised they would be best for her but she could judge them without their words. Amneris would not care who was in her bed because none of them were who she wanted. For now, anyone would do.
Labeth continued on a direct path, still flying quickly but beginning to slow. While she didn't bother trying to hide her weariness, neither did she ask to be saved from her impending descent. She waited to see who was closest and weighed her options lightly. Labeth made her choice rather suddenly. Brushing her wing tip against the nearby Brown dragon she said, Deshenoreth, come with me... In her mind, Labeth's voice was soft almost tremulous. Perhaps Amneris was having an affect on her but she hoped not.
The tall blonde clung to R'ko with a fierce passion. She was too far gone now to think about much else. The same could be said for her Labeth.
Only after Deshenorth had been picked did R'ko lose control of himself completely, and he returned the tall blond's affections equally. Deshenorth's neck sought Labeth's as the reddish Brown tried to show her all of his skills in Flight.
Thank you for choosing me. The Brown sang out, and then neither of the pairing really thought in words anymore.
