Jinet walked over to the herd beast pen as Isisth landed next to he. Jinet looked at her dragon's purple lust filled eyes and started to feel and little lust full her self. As Jinet told Isisth to blood her kill, her mind went back to her yelling at B'oone this morning at breakfast. She didn't even remember what it was for. Jinet looked around and didn't see him,so she figured he was mad at her
Isisth finished blooding her kill and had a bit of a glow to her What I want I don't see. So to the rest of you catch me if you can. Isisth took of like a shot, leaving Jinet standing there in a lustful daze.
Jinet reached her hand out for something to stabilize her self on but found nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------
A'ron watched the green at she blooded her kill. He then turned to Zorroth and glared at him. You know you can win this your faster then her, and not only that I want this more then you think
Zorroth looked at A'ron and snorted You don't think I don't want this either, I still love that green dragon more then you love her rider, but the thing is Isisth hates me and you know it. Zorroth saw her take off. He took off after her as she flew higher higher.

The Night Before
B'oone lay on his furs, staring up at the ceiling of his Weyr. He could hardly keep his eyes open. Altair wings had practiced jumps between, and B'oone, though not physically, was at least mentally tired. Brennanth had been thrilled to go between. It hadn't tired the dragon in the least, and he was layin, poised almost like a feline, looking out at the night sky. B'oone didn't need to look at the dragon to know what he was thinking.
She's going to rise soon.[/b] Brennanth said. All of the large Browns thoughts lately had been about Isisth, his lovely Green. B'oone liked to think that Brennanth had had love at first glance. And you did not love Jinet at first glance?[/b]
B'oone sighed and laced his hands behind his head. "It took me a while, but I think so." After a moment of silence, B'oone added, "But it doesn't mean she'll choose you when she rises."
Brennanth said nothing, but stared up at the sky. Presently, both fell asleep - B'oone from exhaustion, and Brennanth because he wanted it to be tomorrow already.
The Day Of
I told you she was going to fly![/b] Brennanth cried as he felt the first urges of the Green. Green urges weren't as urgent as the Gold urges because Green dragons rise twice as much as Golds, but Brennanth felt the urges just as strongly as he had felt Sheluth's.
B'oone grimaced, but only for a second. Just because he and Jinet had gotten into a fight before didn't mean that he had to deprive his great Brown from rising to chase his love. "Go get her, boy. I'll find my own way to Jinet."
Brennanth happily took off, and had blooded a herdbeast before Isisth had even arrived, though he had stayed inconspicuous, and had watched her from a distance, so that she wouldn't be alarmed. Isisth looked pretty, prettier, maybe, than Sheluth had. He decided not to kill a second time, one kill would be enough.
My dear Isisth![/b] Brennanth bugled, I will catch you![/b]
B'oone prided himself with being the first to Jinet (even though the guy named A'ron was not close behind). He stood comfortably, but not exactly too close to Jinet-- he didn't know if she wanted him any more or not... he hadn't forgotten the arguement earlier. B'oone was ready for the flight.
And so was Brennanth.

T'ris was stretching his arms over his head when he heard his dragon's mind voice, calmly listing off the things they had to do today. one, wash me, two, oil me, three, feed me, four... "Looks like a busy day, my smooth hided friend. Maybe we can skip one thing and have a little fun today." I hope so. The brownrider was not all that tired but a little yawn escaped him. He disliked early mornings. If he could sleep until afternoon he would be happier. Still the morning had come and gone without complaint by him.
The moment that Nerekoth heard the green's cry he sent his rider the suggestion. They could fly or not fly but Nerekoth was loathe to turn down a chance to try for a green. T'ris would never deny his dragon something as trivial as a greenflight. He took the easy way to the Feeding Grounds, riding his dragon who quickly deposited him near the other two riders.
T'ris, his smile more than a little conceited, walked towards Jinet. "Hello Jinet..." As he said this to the greenrider, his Nerekoth was making his presence known to her green, Isisth. Wondrous Isisth, may I not show you something new?

Jinet was no longer herself she and her dragon were one and the same. At the sound of their names they both spun around and looked at who was talking. Jinet saw that it was T'ris as her dragon saw Nerekoth, Jinet smiled as Isisth flew father away from Nerekoth, "What do you want?" they both said in unison.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
A'ron saw T'ris and B'oone as he walked up behind Jinet as she reached out for balance. He grabbed her to support her arm and turned to B'oone "Look at what I got your baby girl." A'ron turned back to her and ran his fingers through her hair.
Zorroth was rather close to Isisth but still couldn't keep up with Isisth. He followed her as she took a sharp drop and stoped just close enough for him to reach her but not touch her. She teased him a bit then flew away.

T'ris, who was used to greenflights and how they worked let his smile remain. He was confident that she could not resist him. Afterall she knew him but she might still wonder about him which would make her curious about what he might be like. T'ris figured why not fly a beautiful young woman when given the chance.
The dragon responded to the green which more than voiced their answer since Jinet was now almost fully feeling and seeing as her dragon. We want you, of course. He spoke truly though it might seem to be the usual answer to such a question.
The brownrider on the ground watched as A'ron held on to and ran his fingers through Jinet's hair. He spoke rather forcefully to the other man. "Let her go. You have not won her." T'ris took a step forward and being a tall man at 6'4" , one could only imagine how hard a punch from him would hurt.

Brennanth noticed that only two other dragons were going to chase her... and they were both Browns. He knew Zorroth, and he despised Zorroth's rider, and Zorroth for that matter. He'd met Nerekoth and his rider only once, because the two were in different Wings. But he knew he would win Isisth for Isisth's sake: neither one of the other chasers were good enough[/b] for her.
Isisth! They do not want you, you will be a one time deal! Choose who you think is right![/b] Brennanth cried, following closely behind Isisth. He snapped at Zorroth, but did nothing to Nerekoth.
B'oone was about to snap at A'ron for grabbing Isisth, but the other man beat him to it. B'oone scowled now, wishing he had helped Jinet, but knowing that T'ris would have snapped at him instead. At least it was A'ron, the stupid, crappy son-of-a-piece-of-Thread.

Jinet had no idea what was going on around her, therefore she had no idea A'ron was holding her. She heard Brenneath talking to her and turned to face B'oone, who was standing away from her.
Isisth who new what she wanted was now tron at who to chose Yes she loved Brenneath but the sweet talking Nerekoth was making her double think herself. Isisth heard Brenneath say she should go with her heart. She slowed down to let Nerekoth and Brenneath catch up with her and then she would chose.
----------------------------------------
Zorroth quickly got out of Brenneath's way as he snapped at him, but as soon as he was gone went right back to chasing after Isisth.
A'ron heard the man tell him to get off of Jinet. He laughed and turned to him "I don't think so. trust me if you want me to let her go your going to have to make me"

T'ris, while not thrilled with the response of A'ron decided to wait till the flight was over. The man could then get properly decked and sent off to sleepy land. For now he needed to keep himself with Nerekoth, who was doing his best to keep up with the spritely green. "We'll see whom she desires and when that decision is made you better hope I am not around to give you what your asking for." He said through gritted teeth.
Nerekoth countered what Brennanth had said. If he will be there for you in the long haul, why should you not have your fun and be flown by any you desire when you desire to...The brown was not nearly as large as Brennanth though that made him more agile and quick whereas Brennanth would have more stamina. In a greenflight, quick and agile should help him and give him a little more edge, unfortunately it seemed that Brennanth had ways of keep close to Golds without having to rely on his agility.

If Brennanth could have grinned, he would have. Unfortunately, Kitti Ping did not engineer dragons to smile, and so Brennanth would have to do with just purring with happiness. He could tell Zorroth was out of the flight, Isisth would never choose him. It was only him and Nerekoth now. But Nerekoth was just as good a flier as him... except he had chased Golds, and though he hadn't won, he had stayed in the race.
Choose, now, my pretty Isisth![/b] Brennanth said, and tilted his wings slightly, which made him turn, catch a thermal, and speed closer to her. Your heart knows who to pick. If you pick Nerekoth, there is always next time for me![/b]
B'oone frowned. Wave after wave of lust forced itself onto him. The Flight was coming to a close. Who would Jinet-Isisth choose? Would it be him, or would it be T'ris? A'ron was being ignored now, the stupid thread-lover.

________________________________________ Isisth waited for them to catch up to her, but she saw Zorroth trying to weasel himself between the two dragons. Both her and her rider screamed no, Isisth flew up away from him and looked for Brenneath If you don't catch me I'm going to hurt you Isisth dove down towards Brenneath. Once she got there she wrapped her wings around him I told you I loved you teddy bear.
Jinet riped her arm away for A'ron, walked over to B'oone, wrapped her arms and kissed him "I'm sorry and I still love you. Now take me away form here"
------------------------------------------------------------
A'ron growled as the green chose Brenneath. He turned toward T'ris and went wide eyed as he realized what the man said to him. A'ron remember all to well what B'oone had done to him and didn't want it to happen again

Brennanth hummed with pride as Isisth, his wonderful Isisth, chose him. He slowed his flight as she swerved to him. And as she wrapped his wings around him, he sustained her flight. And I will always love you![/b]
B'oone found himself walking toward Jinet. Brennanth had won. B'oone smiled, and wrapped his arms around Jinet. At least their fight had been forgotten. Isisth had chosen Brennanth, and Jinet had chosen B'oone. Waves of dragonlust washed over him. Brennanth had lost the queen, but had won the dragon that would actually love him back. And B'oone had found the person that he actually liked, no, loved, for once. He walked Jinet toward her Weyr...
