Why was six afraid of seven? (Jinet)

Brennanth seemed to purr, and he twisted around so that he could see His and Isisth's Hers. They seemed to be okay, but something was wrong... he dismissed it as humans having fun.

B'oone was not stupid, and he knew that the whoosh of air around him had to be coming from something that had been thrown up above. His suspicions were confirmed when he saw Jinet start to sink, the rest of her air escaping in bubbles and traveling to the top of the water. B'oone growled, letting out all of his air, and swam to the surface.

Brennanth! Hurry and save Jinet! I have to teach this guy a lesson! B'oone yelled in his mind, splashing to shore. He stood barely a foot away from the man, knowing he was the only one to throw the rock. B'oone's face was contorted. "Why'd you do that?" He said as calmly as he could muster.

Brennanth had known there was something wrong! He used his wings to propel himself through the water, caught Jinet on his back, and thrust powerfully up to the air that was being deprived from Jinet. It's okay, Isisth, Yours will be okay![/b] Brennanth told the Green as he swiveled his neck to look around at Jinet.

Isisth freaked out when she saw Jinet not moving on Brenneath's back What happened, Jinet wake up please Isisth nudged her with her nose as her eyes went back to an angry red as she saw who was standing on the shore.

A'ron looked at B'oone and laughed "Because I can. What are you going to do about it" A'ron got as close to B'oone face as he could, shoved him back into the water and walked away.

Brennanth checked on Jinet, then looked at His Rider. Brennanth growled. Push in on her chest. It may get some of the water out.[/b]

B'oone growled, too, but for an entirely different reason. He rushed to A'ron, spun the man around, and glared at him. "Because you can? Would you throw a rock at someone's dragon, get the dragon mad at you, and then answer 'because I can?'"

Jinet coughed and opened her eyes to look over at B'oone who was dealing with A'ron. She shoke her head and jumped off Brenneath's back and swam over to where B'oone was. She glared at A'ron "What the hell is your problem." She looked over at B'oone "You might want to hold me back so I don't beat him."

A'ron looked form B'oone to Jinet and smiled "So you think you can hurt me.....right." He then turned back to B'oone "Yes I said because I can and you still didn't tell me what your going to do about it"

Brennanth was about not to let Jinet go -- she didn't look healthy enough to swim back to shore -- but she jumped off his back anyway. Brennanth huffed. You really should tell your Rider not to put herself in danger. She'd be a lot easier to keep up with.

B'oone growled, but didn't move to catch Jinet. If he would have, he would have punched her. "Yes, I believe I will hurt you. " And with a lightning-quick arm, he punched A'ron in the face (or somewhere else, if you really want). He smiled, "That felt good."

Jinet stoped dead in her track when she saw A'ron hit the ground like a ton of bricks. She started to laugh so hard to point she fell to her knees. "See thats what you get when you piss people off."

Isisth rolled her eys when she saw her rider jump off him Listen my Big brown teddy bear I gave up on trying to control her a while ago Isisth started to laugh just as hard when she saw A'ron hit the ground

A'ron glared at B'oone "You know this is just the begening." He got up and ran away as fast as his feet could take him

B'oone didn't see anything funny about A'ron laying, sprawled on the ground. Afterward he would realize the 'funny' of it all, but now he was just staring at Jinet quizically. Well, at least the man was gone. "Who was he? He didn't even say his name."

Brennanth, too, was quizzical, and his expression just begged to be laughed at. What's so funny?[/b] He asked, his eyes whirling partly with distress. He always got that way when he didn't know a joke.

Jinet looked at B'oone and stoped laughing "wellif you must know he is pern's biggest jerk A.K.A A'ron, but the funny thing is he had it comeing and it's about time he got it too" Jinet got up snd leaned on his houlder for suport becasue she was starting to feel a little dizzy for being hit with the rock.

Isisth looked at Brenneath and cooed at him Look don't worry about it he a jerk anyway but yeah Isisth tryed to get the brown to look at her again but she relized something was wrong with her rider.

B'oone smiled, but his smile was weak. "Yeah? Never heard of him. And I'm the jokester. I should have heard of him before, right?" But he shrugged, and held her up when she fell. "You'd better sit down."

Brennanth growled. Doesn't mean anything.[/b] But he splashed Isisth playfully, anyway.

Jinet let B'oone help her up but she didn't want to sit down unless she was made. She walked away form him and stood at the edge of the water "Me and him have a long history together and it's not very pretty at all" She looked back at him and fell to her one knee as she stated to feel dizzy again.

Isisth looked at Brenneath as her eyes went back to a lustful purple Your right he doesn't mean anything he is worthless Isisth dived under the water and swam away form him Come catch me if you can

B'oone helped her sit, and shook his head, chuckling to himself. "You are a weird gal, miss Jinet." He said, nodding to her. "I don't think I've ever seen a person quite like you. I don't think anyone would have that much fervor after almost being drowned."

Brennanth happily followed Isisth under the water, plunging in and beating the water through his wings to catch up to her sleek green form.

Jinet smiled at him an at down " Well you wouldn't want me to change would you?" Jinet blushed "Yeah I'm like that alot My dragon can't keep up with me all the time"

Isisth turned to see Brenneath following her so she went faster. she then swam to the surface Hey you I'm up here

Brennanth hummed. Then he swerved and swam up to her. His humming never stopped.

B'oone kept shaking his head. "I don't want to know about him-- A'ron? You keep your secrets about him to yourself." Then he shrugged. "Where were we? Water?"

Jinet looked at him "I myself would like to stay out of the water for now. I'm not feeling to hot I'm afraid I might really drown this time" Jinet grabbed his hand and pulled him down next to her "Sit so I can lean on you, You make me feel safe." She leaned on him and closed her eyes.

Isisth swished her tail in the water and waited for Brenneath to surface.

B'oone shrugged. "Or we can sit." He flopped down close enough so that Jinet could lay on him, if need be. "What color did you want when you were trying to Impress?" He asked quite suddenly.

Brennanth surfaced with a splash, and he flapped his wings, sending water droplets everywhere. He was happy. He loved swimming. In fact, this was his second time today in the great lake.
