I've been working on character creation and found only ONE question to which I cannot locate an answer. For the creation of a candidate (I prefer to impress my dragons through role play, rather than starting with them), do you prefer the character already be searched, or that he/she be searched IC by another player character? I'm stuck on concluding the "history" section for need of an answer to this one, so the bio will pop up shortly after someone fields it for me.

Well, since there's a hatching going on now, I don't think you'd want to wait forever for another one to come up. I don't think the admins will bite if you enter the hatching a little late 'cause you're new.
But I'm no admin, so I can't tell you what's right.

I noticed that, and I'd wondered how often hatchings roll around. I'd be concerned coming into one late, however, for a lot of different reasons than I'd worry about missing one and having to wait. If I wait, it could be a very long time before I do Impress, but by coming into the hatching late, I'll Impress right away (theoretically), but the admins doing the hatching will have less time to assess the character and select an appropriate dragon colour from observing rp, you know?

Yeah, but if you'll notice on the main sign-thingy, the next Gold flght won't be until January, so then the next hatching won't be until a good deal after that. I'd suggest you just enter the hatching late than wait for the next one.

If you do Impress at this Clutch, we will only have the profile and the Hatching Posts you make to decide which dragon to give you.
So... if you want to jump into the Hatching Late, I would recommend giving us a beautiful profile to read, so that we can truly understand what you character is like. Then we'll have your posts to read, and if you have an AIM or YIM account to talk to us on, we can ask pointed questions and the like.
But... we won't penalize you from coming in late.
