((We are currently accepting unlimited candidates and Quarasrion riders. The coveted Quarasrion Vice-Commander slot is still open! There are only three dragon Tamer slots left, so hurry to claim yours! There will be an event occurring after those slots are filled.))
Many long years ago, Nysylia was a place of peace. A place where the technologically advanced human population and the dragons lived side by side in harmony. There were no wars as none were ever needed and the technology of the people prevented starvation as there always seemed to be enough food to go around.
After a while, though, the leading scientists of Nysylia became bored with simply improving the planet's already flourishing economy and turned their sights to the stars instead, hoping that, someday, they might reach them. And thus, the space program of Nysylia was created. For many years, great and wondrous discoveries came from the space program, most of which were incorporated into the Nysylians' daily life. With the exception of these discoveries, the space program went mostly unnoticed. That was, until they discovered a way to communicate with other planets.
It was only an experimental technology, but the scientists of the space program believed so strongly that it would work that the rest of the population couldn't help but believe too. For many years, the people of Nysylia waited with tense excitement for the day when the first contact would be made. But after a while when there had been no results, the machine that could supposedly communicate with the outside world was forgotten.
But it was remembered all too quickly when they came...
They were the Mindjaksyans, a race of humanoid creatures from a distant planet. They were very highly advanced, even by Nysylian standards, and the impression that the Nysylians were primitive was soon made. A friendly excursion to set up trade routes soon became a mission for conquest. For the first time in all recorded Nysylian history, war broke loose, raging across the land. At first, the Nysylians held their ground with the help of the dragons with whom the Nysylians had lived in harmony. The Mindjaksyans were soon driven back and subdued for a while. But it would not be enough.
It was soon found out that the Mindjaksyans had called in reinforcements when they saw that they were fighting a losing battle. The tables were soon turned in the Mindjaksyans' favor with the arrival of space ships carrying weapons the likes of which the Nysylians had never even dreamed of. With them, came the Quarasria and the Eyusiel, the most dangerous weapons of them all...
The Quarasria, their devastating poison-tipped claws, tail, and fangs were devastating to the Nysylian armies as were the Eyusiel with their enormous size and control of powerful magic. Only one of either species could take out at least fifty of the Nysylian dragon Tamers. The Nysylians lost all hopes of victory and were soon conquered and enslaved for their resistance. Nysylia, a planet that had once flourished with technology, now became a mere supply planet for the Mindjaksyans, it's people, once scientists and inventors, reduced to simple farmers, forced to live a life of poverty while the Mindjaksyans taxed them of their crops.
