Jinet laughed a bit when K'dyn said to her about R'net and surprise drills, it made her think when she was back at Telgar and how her old wing leader used to do the same thing.
She looked up at him "Well don't worry this rider is far form lazy my dear brown rider" Jinet then turned back to the little girl and smiled at her "May I ask where your father is at the moment?"

The girl noticed that the pretty woman was speaking to her. And she smiled. "Ya, I wash Brennanth lots, but he's too big, an' I can't reach all round him." She spread her hands wide, smiling. "Your blue big?"
Manna was still for approximately three seconds. There wasn't nothing else to do. She started when one the otherwomen turned and asked her a question. "I dunno, lady. My Daddy's been with th' Al'air Wing these pas' days. I haven't seen him much."
She shrugged, then grabbed a fruit. The fruit was delicious. She felt its juices dribble down her mouth.

Jinet looked at the little girl "well could you tell him if you see him that Jinet was looking for him" She then turned back to the others "well I think I'm gonna head back to my weyr I will see you all later" Jinet got up and waved good bye to everyone and turned to leave.

K'dyn watched the interactions of the women with the girl but made no move to interefere. He wasn't really in much of a talking mood anyway so it was good that they were all chatting well together. Manna left first, which was no suprise to him. Jinet took her leave shortly after. Why she left that sort of message with a little girl when it would have been easier to have her dragon bespeak his, he didn't quite understand.
Trying to be polite he did say, " Have a good evening, Jinet. See you at drills." He meant nothing by that except the goodwishes of a Wingsecond for a memeber of the wing. Smiling uncomfortably at Jeyna he looked down at what was left of his food. "Had time to enjoy the new area much? I'll admit I've been a bit Weyr bound but as a Searchrider you must be able to go to Star Hold and explore the beaches here a little." He might not like getting away from his routine as much as he thought he would but it was still nice to think of a vacation.

Jeyna nodded. "I've seen a good bit of it. I have to admit, I prefer remaining on the Southern Continent than Searching the North." She chuckled, "Women on Dragon Back is extremely rare in our own time. In this time..." She shook her head, "I wind up having to bind myself and wear a cap in order to not give our secret away. It's rather annoying and uncomfortable."
"However, the beaches here are very beautiful." She looked to the man. He was not her Wingleader or even one of her Wingseconds, but he was a man that Jeyna respected. "You should get out some, K'dyn. I know it's difficult, but I'm not sure that this is how Gwen would want you to deal with it."
To be honest, had she had to come here with Amneris, she knew that she would be no better than K'dyn was. So she did understand, as much as she could.
