So you have a character from Igen or Telgar. What's their beef? This may help you get a feel of your character and why there's a rivalry.
TELGAR WEYR
* Large clutch numbers
* Colder climate (reminiscent of New England on Terra)
* Wing Rivalry more important that interweyr rivalries.
* Rankers are generally well liked
* Women in Marisol's day are seen on fighting dragons, though in the last 14 turns impressing to them has become near impossible. (Fourteen was since the plagues started and Telgar Weyrwoman Elisha mandated that only males will be able to stand for fighting dragons. Rejecting women as fighting candidates started before thread fell.)
* Interweyr relationships are accepted as normal.
