Timeline
Turn 1055- Telgar Weyr intitiates a dangerous plot to send some riders and children back in time to age ten turns to create more Candidates for Adeloth's large clutches. (This mission is secret and viewed as a sucess when the riders and children return in Turn 1056.)
Turn 1056- Timing it children return and most impress. A new plague strikes Pern only this time it has a higher mortality rate. Men, women, children and consequently much needed dragons are dying. Telgar Weyr hatches a plan to send Riders to a new Weyr on the Southern Continent back in time. Before that can happen they send Holders to form a Hold there. (Named Star Hold)
Begin the fifth Pass
Turn 1057- Thread has begun to fall. Igen Weyr becomes more suspicious of the other Weyrs.
Turn 1060- Thread is taking its toll on the inexperienced riders though the Weyrs seem to be retaining more riders every Turn. The Weyrs are becoming better at fighting Thread.
Turn 1067- in preperation to send the riders back, news is let slip to the Igen Weyrleaders who insist some of their own go to this new Weyr as well. Through blackmail, they succeed.
Turn 1068- thirty dragons and their riders are sent to the new Weyr two hundred turns in the past. The new Weyr is named Nova.
---- Time Travel----
Turn 868- The riders arrive in the middle of the fourth interval to their new Home, Nova Weyr. By now, Star Hold has been running for twelve Turns.
Current Turn- 868
