Netory almost said what she was thinking but figured it wouldn't go so well considering the young man seemed to favor Liv quite a bit. She stuck by what she thought before. "Well she did say she had to rush off to chores. Live looked out of it to me when I sat down so maybe she lost track of time with all that day dreaming." Netory said plain as day. "Anyway I don't suppose you have many chores yet since you only just arrived."
Netory thought about her own chores today. She didn't have too many, due to her age. Figuring it all in her head she thougt she had plenty of time to visit R'ko. "What are you going to do today?" Netory asked politely. She didn't want to be too talkative but she liked knowing what people were doing and why. Curiousity was not out of character for her especially not when learning about new people. This Corin fellow was interesting and it would be good to make friends with a Candidate or two. When they impressed they could show her their dragons!

"Well...I don't really have any resposibilites yet. I'm sort of a guest of the weyr, at least for now. I guess once the eggs are laid then they'll have things for me to do." Corin twirled his flute in his fingers. "Is there a haper here? Maybe I could go contine training till the eggs are ready. I could go back home, but I really wanted to get used to living in the weyr, before the Hatching." He gave her an "ah ha" sort of smile, "Maybe I could help you with your chores, then we can see if a rider would take us to the beach?"

"Oh no! They must not have told you!" Netory said, eyes wide. She wondered what Searchrider had brought the youth here. He had to have known to check with the Candidate Master. Maybe he was confused as to how things worked around here. She tugged a strand of her hair back behind her ear as she raised her eyebrow at his nonchalant appearance. Maybe he knew and wasn't doing what he was supposed to. Netory hoped not. That would get him into trouble with the Candidate Master and the Headwoman.
The little girl calmed her voice down and said in a motherly tone, "Finish eating and then you must go to the Candidate Master's office. He will assign you a bunk at the barracks, daily chores and you will be recieving lessons daily. These lessons are on basic reading and writing skills if you don't have them as well as dragon lore, Weyr ettiquette and all manner of important things here at the Weyr."
Then Netory answered what she would be doing instead of going to the beach with him. " I would take you to the Candidate Master myself and I'd love to go to the Beach, but I have my day all planned out. I've got a couple chores to do today. Some of it is simple messenger work, it helps that I know where everyone is." Her arrogance was a little strong for one so young. "Then I am going to see my brother, R'ko. I haven't been to see him since we all moved here really."
