It had been about a month and two weeks scine Isisth flight and Jinet was not feeling like her normal self, in fact she felt rather sick. Jinet sallowed hard as she walked over to feed grounds where Isisth was.
Isisth up at her with a bloody snot looked at her Are you ok you look a little pale Jinet looked at her and did a half smile I'm ok dear one I'm just not feeling well thats all. To tell you the truth I haven't felt well for the past week Isisth eyes changed to a light yellow in fear for her rider Don't you think you should go to the infirmary Jinet rolled her eyes at her dragon Isisth I'll be fine
Isisth was not convinced at what her rider had said so she looked around for someone to posably take Jinet to the Infirmery cause she new Jinet was not going to go on her own, but she found noone.

Jeyna was trying to remain even tempered, but since Ragoth had sprained his wing, she found it rather difficult. The Blue Rider did not like being grounded, no more than her dragon did. And both really disliked the fact that they would not be able to fly Labeth when she rose this time. The last thing that Jeyna wanted to think about was some man being with her Amneris, even just in flight.
Ragoth was managing to eat just fine, though it had taken him a bit to get used to hunting with the difficulty of his wing. She had not expected anyone else to be at the feeding grounds at this time, so she was surprised when she heard Jinet.
She frowned slightly and approached the other woman. "Hi, Jinet right?" Even though they had both been at Telgar, Jeyna had not really known the other rider.
"Are you ok? You look kind of... green. And not in a good green dragon way."

Jinet looked at her and gave her a weak smile "Hi Jeyna, I haven't been feeling well for the last week, I don't know what is wrong with me." She sallowed hard again as she felt a little dizzy.
Isisth looked at Ragoth Hi Ragoth she said to her with a big of concern in her voice. She then turn back to where the other two rider where when she saw A'ron walking up behind them.
---------------------------------------------------
A'ron walked up behind the two girls and made and evil smile "Hi girls" He then push Jeyna out of his way and looked at Jinet. Jinet glared at him and mouth HELP to Jeyna "Go away you Therad loving jerk. I don't need your help"
Zorroth landed between the Isisth and Ragoth Hi boys and girls

"You should go to the healers then. A week is a bit to be not feeling well and not do anything about it." Part of Jeyna's mind was screaming with the possibility of the plague having followed them to Nova after all, the plague that had made this venture necessary in the first place. She kept those thoughts to herself though.
Hello, Isisth, Zorroth.
Ragoth had long recovered from any embarrassment about being grounded. The fact that he would miss Labeth's flight was the primary irritant - that and not getting to fly was rather boring.
Jeyna raised an eyebrow as she was pushed out of the way. That was not behavior she was used to, or willing to tolerate. Seeing Jinet's plea for help only increased her desire to get her away from such a rude individual. "While I'd love to teach you some manners, boy," And Jeyna could. There were few in as good a shape as she was - in addition to regular drills, she ran every morning and since coming to Nova had worked harder to prove to those from Igen that women could be as good as men. "Right now, Jinet needs to get to the infirmary. I'm sure your need to prove to the other guys just how much of a man you are does not include keeping a woman from getting the help of healers."
She rolled her eyes at him, as she gently grabbed Jinet's elbow. "Infirmary, now. Your dragon is broadcasting her distress. You should listen to her." She smiled warmly to the young woman, not quite the same look she gave to Amneris, but one that said that she would protect her, at least for now.

Jinet looked at Jeyna "Thank you and I think part of the reason I might not be feeling well is cause I'm probably pergnet." She then looked back as A'ron followed the two of them and scooped her into his arms. Jinet screamed in terror at him and smacked him "Put me down you monster!" Jinet reached out for Jeyna's hand "Jeyna please stay I don't trust him"
A'ron looked at her and snickered "You really want me to put you down cause I have no quals with just dropping you" He turned to Jeyna and glared at her "And what are you plaining on doing to me Blondie"
--------------------------------------------------------- Isisth glared at Zorroth You know I hate you right She then walked around him and over to Ragoth Tell your rider thank you, cause I knew she wasn't going to do it herself

Jeyna again rolled her eyes. "Put her down - gently and on her feet, or you'll find out soon enough." While this man's attitude was bothering her, as was the way he was treating Jinet, Jeyna was glad that it was not Amneris he was harrassing - the Blue Riding woman would not have shown this much constraint if it had been.
For now, Jeyna would deal with this herself. However, she'd keep an eye on the man's behavior. If it did not lighten up or stop all together, she'd suggest that Jinet talk to Neory - after all the weyrwoman would not allow such abuse of any riders.
"Don't worry, Jinet. I'm not going to abandon anyone to a beast such as this one."
The pregnant thing kind of surprised her. She was used to women Rider's betweening after flights (except those flights in which Jeyna or another woman did the catching). Actually, she had had to between herself a couple of times after Ragoth caught a Green riden by a boy, though that did not happen frequently. However, Jeyna did not comment on it, not in front of A'ron who obviously irritated the other woman.
You are welcome. Mine tends to help those who need it. That once won her a young woman who confused her, a young woman that she now could not imagine living without. It also once earned her the scorn of a rider whose dragon could not keep the distress to herself in a situation of romance gone wrong.

Jinet glared at him as she retreated back to Jeyna "Your lucky B'oone not here cause he hate's you, and you dran lucky I'm not feeling well" She reached out to grab Jeyna as she almost feel to her knees because she was dizzy. She looked at Jeyna "Let's go just help keep an eye on him"

Jeyna was focusing on getting Jinet to the healers, so she did not worry about A'ron's rudeness or disrespect. She'd worry about setting him straight at some other point in time.
She also hoped that Jinet would be able to continue to walk as she guided her down to the infirmary. She could carry the other woman if she needed to, and she would not think twice about it. However, there was only one woman she cared to carry, and this A'ron seemed just rude and cruel enough to try to cause problems. At least her old reputation had long been left behind her - even at Telgar.
"Just worry about getting to the infirmary, Jinet. If it's draining you this much, perhaps you should see if Isisth will give you a brief ride between." Jeyna knew that all the women, not just women of the lower caverns, were being fully encouraged to carry any children that they conceive to term. However, Jeyna, a woman who had never cared to have children of her own, thought that a woman's well being and choices were still a very important part of whether or not one had children or not.

Jinet went wide eyed at what Jeyna said "No if I am I want to have the child, and that not just cause I want to be a mother but because I promised my own mother, May she rest in peace, that I would give her one grandchild" She smiled at her "Don't worry I will be ok my mother told me that the first months are the worst"
She glared at A'ron walked up next to her and grabbed her other arm and smiled shyly "I'm sorry Jinet. Please let me help you" She looked at him and growled a bit but didn't pull away.
Jinet closed her eyes for a second and contacted Isisth Hey sweety, If I'm pergent I would like you to tell Brenneath so he tell B'oone ok Isisth was outside with Ragoth when she heard Jinet No worries Little one I will do so.
Jinet turned back Jeyna and smiled "Thank you ofor your help"

Jeyna raised an eyebrow when she saw that Jinet did not pull away from A'ron. She did not know the man beyond this current encounter, but from the way he had been behaving, and the way Jinet had been acting around him before, she was rather surprised at her letting him help now. However, it was none of her business, so she did not make a comment beyond the raised eyebrow.
"You're welcome, Jinet. We Riders need to stick together." She glanced to A'ron. "All of us. Especially here at Nova." She chuckled, "After all, this place is new to all of us. A new life."
Jeyna silently thanked Faranth that she was in love with a woman. She could not imagine going through pregnancy. They had friends who had, including Neory, and it was not something Jeyna could imagine putting her body through.

Jinet looked at Jeyna and smiled at what she said "Your right we do have to stick together even if some of us don't get along very well" She glared at A'ron when she said the second part.
Jinet walked into the infirmary with her two escorts and sat down on one of the beds. One of the nurse came in, she took one look at Jinet and didn't even have to ask what was wrong "My name is Marie and my dear girl you look rather pale and I think I know why" Marie then looked at the other two and smiled softly "I would like to thank the two of you and I would also like both you to stay If you don't mind?"

(OOC: Marie cannot be a healer. We have a no NPCs as Masters rules. However, she could be a nurse (a Journeyman speciality) or an assistant. Or even a midwife. However, she cannot be a Master Healer which is what is implied by calling her a Healer without any qualification.)
Jeyna shrugged slightly at the request of the woman. "If Jinet wants me to stay, I can." Though the fact of the matter was that the Blue Rider did not see much reason for her to be there now that Jinet was where she needed to be. She'd remain if Jinet wanted her to, and only if Jinet wanted her to.
At least if any rumors were started from her waiting in an infirmary with a pregnant woman, Amneris would quickly dismiss them, and she assumed that the father would as well.

Jinet looked at Jeyna "I would like you to stay cause one I trust you and two I know he will not leave." She then turned back to Marie and waited for her to say something, but she walked away and only said "I'll be right back deary"
Jinet looked at A'ron who seem rather annoyed the she wanted the other rider to stay.
-------------------------------------------------------------
A'ron growled rather loud when he heard Jinet say she wanted Jeyna to stay "Well Blondie It looks like she wants you to keep an eye on me cause she doesn't trust me." He walked over to her and tolssed her hair so he could get her annoyed.

Jeyna chuckled, "All right, Jinet. I'll be glad to stay."
Ragoth, when you're done feeding, either go to the lake or the ledge. I might be here a while. Be careful of your wing!
I know, Mine. I think I will go sun. Should I let Labeth know where you are?
Don't disturb her in wing practice, Ragoth. If they get back and she asks, yes. Tell her.
She heard the mental grumble. Just a little bit longer, dear one. I know you're bored.[/b]
When A'ron ruffled her hair, Jeyna gave no reaction whatsoever. Jeyna was not someone who had a short temper (unless someone messed with Amneris!). Nor was she one to be easily baited. Sure, if he did much more, he would find himself sorry that he had thought that he had the right to touch her. However, for now, she would try to ignore him rather than further feeding his ego by allowing him to annoy her.

A'ron smiled at her and laughed when he realized that is was not working "Well Blondie it looks like I may have to work harder to piss you off" He smiled and thought to himself "I already got her "boyfriend" to punch me in the face cause I throw a rock at her while she was swimming in the lake and I think it's only a matter of time before she starts yelling at me" He then held up Jinet's necklace in front of Jenya's face. --------------------------------------------------------------
Jinet thought she was missing something, she felt around her neck and realized she was missing her mother's necklace. She looked over at A'ron who had it in his hand " How did you get that off my neck you monster?" Jinet went to get up and smack him, but Marie came back in and told her to stay where she was.
