^ Yes, of course I did. I'm constantly questioning my own faith but I believe in the end it makes me a better follower. If I didn't think about then I would be some mindless drone following a bunch of religious rules because "they" said so.

^I suspect that they wouldn't have for the same reason I think she had in leaving it out: by the time Pern was settled, most of the world would have to be either so private about their faith that it almost never comes up or genuinely agnostic, because you cannot scientifically prove or disprove the existence of some sort of "divine", but beyond that, you start being able to prove a lot, that religion would become a serious non-issue. I don't think dragonmen would have the time for religion, anyhow.

<Was considering doing a philosopher/skald on Pern, but isn't sure it'd work out well.
